Wander the Gardens of Paris to New York
In Paris those who might still have their doubts as to the need to reintroduce nature into the heart of the city should simply take a stroll through the 12th arrondissement. Thanks to the landscaped promenade laid out, plot by plot, since 1988, on the viaduct supporting the old railway track that used to link the Place de la Bastille with the Bois de Vincennes, walkers can now stroll for more than four kilometres among willows, nut trees, lavender, rose gardens, flowering cherry-trees, honeysuckle and wisteria. Walking some twenty feet above the traffic it is easy, to forget the hum of the city, for a while.
In New York has Gardens for Children and Family events to please anyone who wants a walk with nature.
With hands on exhibits. Each season they have special programs like Mud, Buds, Blooms, Wild Wiggly Worms and Good Night Garden. Let your young experience the charm of gardening.
